BABIES'The Challenge' Star Ashley Cain Reveals His 8-Month-Old Daughter Azaylia Has 'Days To Live' Following Cancer Diagnosis
Any parent’s nightmare has become a heartbreaking reality for Ashley Cain. The Challenge star shared a heartbreaking update on his eight-month-old daughter, Azaylia — revealing she only has “days to live.”
In a 10-minute clip, posted to his Instagram on Thursday, April 8, Cain explained that his daughter’s health is declining. Last week, two tumors were discovered on baby Azaylia’s brain and are causing “too much pressure” in her head, and she can no longer continue with treatment.
The grief-stricken father noted that a spinal tap wasn’t an option, as the procedure would “kill her.” The former football player added that the doctors told him Azaylia has “only got one, two days to live.”
Cain welcomed his little girl in August 2020 with his girlfriend, Safiyya Vorajee. Two months later, doctors diagnosed the newborn with leukemia.
“Yesterday I had to go through something no parent in the world should have to go through,” he captioned an Instagram video at the time. “The single most upsetting, terrifying and heartbreaking experience I have ever been through. I found out my beautiful daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain got diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of leukaemia [sic] which has come with many complications.”

Cain continued: “Everybody who wishes to, please say a prayer for my beautiful brave little girl Azaylia who is currently fighting a battle for her life! Mummy and Daddy love you princess ❤️ LETS GO CHAMP 🏆 You CAN and you WILL beat this! ✊🏾.”
After the devastating news of their daughter’s declining health and the reality that she may only have days left to live, the parents decided to take their daughter home to live out the rest of her days. “Azaylia’s last bath in hospital, before we take her home where she belongs. 🏠❤️😢💔🙏🏾,” Cain captioned a photo of his daughter in a tub.
The Ex on the Beach U.K. alum said Azaylia’s perseverance was “a testament of this little girl's strength and the fight she has possessed all of the way through. She has fought a battle that not many, if any, of us could have endured and she’s earned the love and respect of many on the way.”
“The truth is though, I hope and pray that I have earned hers! Even through the hardest and saddest time of my life, she has found a way to make it better. She has shined light on the darkest of days and she has opened my heart to amounts of love I couldn’t believe possible! ❤️,” Cain wrote. “You are in my arms, my thoughts, my prayers and my heart everyday my princess. YOU’RE MY HERO! ✊🏾 DADDY LOVES YOU! ❤️.””
