The moment we have all been waiting for! The View co-host Meghan McCain revealed her baby girl's face after fans have been requesting to see her daughter, Liberty, for months.
The 36-year-old shared an array of photos on her first day back from maternity leave on Monday, January 4. "Someone wanted to see me? 🗽♥️," McCain captioned three photos.
Fans and friends immediately flooded the mother of one's comments section to gush over the 3-month old cutie. Real Housewives stars Lisa Rinna commented, "Beautiful ♥️," while Luann de Lesseps wrote, "So beautiful." Other users commented on whether Liberty looks more like her mom or her dad, Ben Domenech.
After McCain and her hubby, Domenech, revealed they had a bun in the oven, the couple insisted on keeping the new mama's growing baby bump hidden from the spotlight. The daughter of late Senator John McCain — who passed away in 2018 due to brain cancer — previously explained why she chose to remain quiet about the duo's unborn child.
"People keep asking and requesting I show pics & details of my pregnancy," she wrote via Instagram in May. "Given that people write on photos I put up of my family they are glad my Dad got cancer and he's in hell, I thought I would leave my unborn child out of the social media cesspool as much as possible."
However, since the birth of Liberty on September 28, McCain has frequently taken to social media to gush over motherhood and her bundle of joy. Last month, McCain told her 456,000 Instagram followers that "having a daughter answers every existential and ontological question a human being confronts in this wild life," while noting she and Domenech feel so "indescribably blessed."
While reflecting on the past rollercoaster of a year, McCain — who tied the knot with Domenech in 2017 — paid tribute to her husband, 39, on his birthday and praised him for being a great father and husband. "You and Liberty are the best things that have ever happened to me," she captioned the photo of Domenech via Instagram.
"There is nothing sexier than watching you become a father. I love the way Liberty responds to your voice — it's like you have a secret language you speak to one another," she added. "Thank you for keeping both of our hearts wild and never dulling the flame."
