NBA star Tristan Thompson believes dead financier Jeffrey Epstein was murdered.

Thompson, who has two children with Khloé Kardashian, does not believe that Epstein committed suicide, but also said he doesn't believe conspiracy theories that he is still on this earth.

“I don’t think he’s alive. I think he was murdered,” he said on “The Katie Miller Podcast." “What do you think?"

Miller agreed, saying, "I believe he was murdered. I believe the autopsy does not match. I believe a lot of government documents were shredded. So I think we'll never know the truth.”

Tristan Thompson weighed in on Jeffrey Epstein's death.

Officially, Epstein's death was ruled a suicide by hanging on August 16, 2019, according to a report by the New York City Medical Examiner. While some experts and lawyers representing him suggested injuries were consistent with strangulation, the official findings concluded there was no foul play, despite widespread conspiracy theories to the contrary.

The phrase "Epstein didn't kill himself" became a widespread meme, with various theories accusing political figures like Hillary Clinton or President Donald Trump.

Thompson told the wife of Trump's deputy chief of staff, Stephen Miller, that the dead financier's death remains an “unsolved murder.”

Jeffrey Epstein died in 2019.

The two aren’t alone in their views.

Mark Epstein believes his brother was murdered rather than dying by suicide, citing suspicious evidence and a potential cover-up.

He highlights findings from a private autopsy that suggested homicide and argues that the official investigation was prematurely halted.

Mark noted that two pathologists, including Dr. Michael Baden, indicated that broken neck bones were more consistent with homicide than suicide.

Mark has challenged the official narrative and the Department of Justice's findings. He specifically challenges the validity of the security footage referenced by former Attorney General Bill Barr.

Jeffrey Epstein's death is consistently debated.

He argues that the scene was not properly handled, questioning the speed at which the death was ruled a suicide.

Fueling the theories is the fact that on the night of Jeffrey’s death, the two guards assigned to watch Jeffrey fell asleep and later falsified records to hide their failure to perform the required 30-minute checks.

Jeffrey's cellmate was transferred the day before his death and was not replaced, leaving him alone despite a previous reported suicide attempt in July 2019.

Jeffrey Epstein's brother has continued to push for a new investigation.

Recent disclosures under the Epstein Files Transparency Act in 2025 and 2026 have reaffirmed the official suicide ruling while providing more detail on the jail's operational failure.

Mark has continued to push for a new investigation, insisting that a thorough investigation into his brother's cause of death was never performed.
