Kim Kardashian recreated Reese Witherspoon's character Elle Woods' Harvard essay acceptance video from Legally Blonde for Halloween and it's almost better than the original! The reality star wore a variety of identical looks from the hit 2001 film and showcased her acting chops in the clip she shared to Instagram on Thursday, October 31.
"Oh! Hi! I’m Elle Woods and for my admissions essay I am going to tell all of you at Harvard why I’m going to be an amazing lawyer," Kim, 39, began the video. She acted out the iconic sorority meeting, the pool scene where she discusses Days of our Lives, and the campus walk where she declares that she's "comfortable using legal jargon in everyday life."
Her 150 million followers weren't short on praise after viewing the hilarious video. "The best I've ever seen," sister Khloe Kardashian wrote in the comments section. "That's it. You won Halloween like you do every year. This is too good, I'm dead," another added. "We have a winner. Everyone else can go home now," former assistant Stephanie Shepard proclaimed.
The KKW Beauty founder nailed the Elle Woods costumes too. She donned a Barbie pink slip dress with a blonde wig and a Tiffany & Co. heart chain for one scene. She found the exact same green sequined bikini Elle wore in the pool scene, and she even borrowed someone's tiny dog to play the character's dog Bruiser.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's real life isn't too far off from the movie. She is currently studying to become a lawyer and plans to take the California bar exam in 2022. She is passionate about prison reform and decided to pursue becoming an attorney so that she could could help bring about change in the justice system.
This is just the first of many costumes for Kim this Halloween. After a fan asked for a hint as to what she would be dressing up as, Kim revealed that she has multiple looks planned. "I was up until 1:30am shooting one look! I have one w kids, one w Kanye and one solo. I have a 4th look but not sure if I will do it this year. Need to decide," she tweeted.
