It’s safe to say that Joyce Giraud de Ohoven considers herself a “girl’s girl”, a phrase widely used on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. From her experience as a beauty pageant contestant (and winner!) to now joining the lion’s den that is RHOBH, Joyce has plenty of experience handling dramatic women. But how do the two worlds compare?
When we caught up with Joyce a the Bravo offices she confirmed that some of the Real Housewives ladies are indeed cattier than the pageant gals. Yikes! She also dishes on the one skill she has applied from her days competing to be Miss Puerto Rico and Miss Universe (which she was crowned second runner-up in 1998) to today where she is forced to compete with women at dinners in Palm Springs and SUR.
So if the RHOBH ladies were to compete in beauty pageants, what would their talents be exactly? Joyce breaks it down from Kyle’s splits, Carlton’s vocabulary and Brandi’s, well… you’ll have to hear for yourself in the video above!
Joyce also told us about the time she supported RHOM‘s Joanna Krupa at a recent charity event. The two ladies certainly have a lot in common including their dislike of Brandi Glanville—so did the swap stories? See what Joyce has to say about their conversation.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs tonight on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET.
