'Conversations in the Dark' (and couples therapy!) are sure to keep Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's relationship from falling apart.

In a new interview with Cosmopolitan UK, the EGOT winner revealed how he maintains a happy marriage with the Cravings author — who is pregnant with a baby boy — and credited the coronavirus pandemic for allowing him to spend more time with his 4-year-old daughter, Luna Simone, and 2-year-old son Miles Theodore.

"It sounds obvious, but it's important to be with someone you really care about, respect, and enjoy being around. I think that’s the crucial foundation," The Voice coach said of his seven-year marriage. "Then communicating, being considerate, listening to your partner, and making sure their needs are met."

Legend added how important it is to receive advice and guidance from others. "We go to therapy sometimes," the songwriter said. "I think every couple who has been together for a long time could use time to talk with a third party to help with whatever concerns they have."

The philanthropist said his kids "are in heaven" now that their successful and busy parents are able to hang out "all day, every day" due to COVID-19. Legend explained this time has allowed for the power couple to "spend a lot of time with each other," which is their kids' "ideal situation."

The 'All of Me' singer — who had to postpone his Bigger Love tour until next year — noted that a downside of the pandemic "is that we had to cancel my tour. I’ve released a new album and want to be out there performing the songs to people." However, with their third baby on the way, he has extra time to take care of the baby mama!

The 'Wild' singer, 41, and former Sports Illustrated model, 34, tied the knot in 2013 after meeting on the set of the musician's music video for 'Stereo' in 2007. The duo recently announced that they are expecting baby number three after conceiving naturally, which came as a surprise due to previous fertility challenges and welcoming their older children through IVF.

"We thought it couldn’t happen this way and were worried that something would go wrong but, so far, all the tests have come back great and we feel very good," he explained. Later in the interview, the soon-to-be father of three discussed how the role of fatherhood has changed him and said, "it gives you a sense of purpose greater than yourself.

"It makes you think about work priorities. As soon as we had Luna, I thought more about my work schedule and how much I wanted to be home," he continued. "It’s a different kind of love. You feel love for them because they’re yours, but you feel this responsibility for them as well."
