On Sunday, April 24, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 48, further fueled the rumors by posting a cryptic image of a broken heart emoji to her Story without any other context.

But it wasn't the first time the blonde beauty has hinted at a split from McDermott, 55.

Back in June 2021, the Messyness star sent fans into a frenzy after revealing she and McDermott no longer sleep in the same bedroom.

After Jeff Lewis asked about her love life while she appeared on his SiriusXM podcast, Spelling admitted: "You know what, right now my kids and dogs sleep in my bed." (The couple shares five children together: Liam, 15, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 5.)

The following month, Spelling added fuel to the fire when she was spotted without the rock on her left hand.

As OK! reported, the reality star went ringless in an Instagram video filmed at home, with McDermott following suit shortly after, as he stepped out just weeks later without his own ring.

In October 2021, the True Tori alum was photographed in Los Angeles screaming on her cell phone following a meeting with an attorney, prompting speculation that she was trying to get the ball rolling with her reported "imminent" divorce from McDermott, as OK! learned.

The same day, Spelling shared a cryptic post about letting go to her Instagram Story, which read: "You’re meant to hurt that hard. That deeply. Remember, the same way you love will be the same way you let go."

On October 24, 2021, Spelling seemingly alluded to her crumbling marriage once again by sharing a quote that read: "Trust the timing of your life. You are right where you are meant to be."

Just days later, Spelling appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, where she stayed noticeably silent about the hovering divorce rumors.

In November 2021, Spelling ignited even more speculation after sharing her family Christmas card, which didn't include a trace of McDermott.

The mom-of-five later tried shutting down questions about McDermott's absence, telling her followers that the Canadian actor was in his home country filming his new feature film at the time.

In February, Spelling was back to sharing cryptic quotes to Instagram after putting on a united front throughout the holidays for the sake of their kiddos.
