The hotshot exec and her husband, Brett Nardini, became members of the country club last summer, sources said. They added that Erika's banker husband signed her up for squash lessons with the club pro in December.

Swiss' wife, middle school teacher Cynthia, started suspecting something was going on over a three-week period when her husband would come home from his lessons — which began at around 8 p.m. — at 2 a.m.- 3 a.m, it was reported.

It seems Swiss and Erika got into a habit of hanging out with two other pals at the club bar after their late night sessions.

And while Swiss and his wife were deemed the "local golden couple," it looks like Erika broke up their marriage in the process of ruining her own.

"Every waiter and bartender in town knew them and everyone thought, ‘Cynthia and Swiss are always so happy.'” a source said of Swiss and Cynthia, who wed in 2012. “They were madly in love."

According to Page Six, who first reported on Erika's alleged affair, Swiss and Cynthia were planning to retire and recently bought a vacation home together.

Right before their affair was discovered, the squash pro flew to Michigan — where his wife had taken her four sons, between ages 17 and 26, for a brief trip — to surprise Cynthia on her birthday, it was reported.

However, everything came crashing down on the couples when Cynthia reportedly discovered text messages on January 8, indicating Swiss left their home to spend the day in bed with Erika in New York. She also discovered messages of the two planning their future together, it was reported.

Cynthia filed for divorce in March, the outlet reported. Swiss — who has been a world-ranked squash pro and won the 2000 national championship in Switzerland — was also reportedly fired from the New Canaan Country Club a few days after his affair with Erika was brought to light.

As for the Nardinis — who have two sons, 8 and 10 — they have reportedly split but have yet to divorce.

Meanwhile, Erika is said to be looking for her own apartment (possibly for her and Swiss).
