Cassie Laundrie, who lives with her husband, James Luycx, and children, spoke to protestors and reporters outside of her Florida home on Monday, October 4, where she claimed she didn’t know anything about her parent’s involvement in Brian’s disappearance.

“We are just as upset, frustrated and heartbroken as everybody else,” she told News Nation Now. "I am losing my parents and my brother and my children's aunt and my future sister-in-law on top of this.”

Brian's sister explained she and her husband were disobeying orders from the FBI by speaking to reporters, but insisted she wanted to answer questions so they would leave her property. Meanwhile, Cassie alleged she and her husband have been cooperating with authorities, saying: “We have told the FBI everything. The world does not need to know what the FBI knows, and that’s why we’re silent.”

Of the revelations Cassie made, she explained she was present for the camping trip with Brian and her parents in Fort De Soto on September 6, but noted she and her husband didn't stay the night. (The Laundrie family took a trip to the campground days after Brian returned home alone from the couple's cross-country trip in Gabby's van.)

Cassie declared nothing about Gabby came up during the outing with her brother — who was reported missing on Friday, September 17 — and parents because the children were present.

Cassie also claimed she never saw her brother and Gabby get into any serious arguments, and that she never witnessed him get physical with her. However, she did say she isn't very close with her brother.

“We’re angry and upset,” she concluded to the reporters. “We’re unfortunately in the dark as much as everybody else.”

Cassie and her husband both declined to answer any questions regarding the details of Gabby’s death.
