Britney Spears' Lawyer Requesting Jamie Spears Turn Over All Bedroom Listening Device Documentation & Communication
Britney Spears' lawyer wants to get to the bottom of the allegations that her father Jamie Spears put listening devices in her bedroom while he was her conservator.
In court documents obtained by OK!, the "Gimme More" singer's attorney Mathew Rosengart has requested "all documents and communications relating to any recording or listening device in the home or bedroom of Britney Jean Spears, including all documents and communications relating to the decision to place any such recording or listening device and the records of any such recording."
Within the filing, the former federal prosecutor implies that Jamie wanted to end the conservatorship in order to avoid answering questions under oath about the alleged abuses that took place during the nearly 11-year-long arrangement.
According to the documents, the 39-year-old's lawyer has requested Jamie hand over "all documents and communications relating to the electronic surveillance, monitoring, cloning, or recording of the activity of Britney Jean Spears' personal telephone, including but not limited to the surveillance, monitoring, cloning, icloud mirroring, or recording of calls, emails, text messages, internet browser use or history, and social media use or direct messages on social media."
However — regarding obtaining a deposition from her dad — Jamie's new attorney Alex Weingarten is standing by the fact that the 69-year-old is done dealing with the conservatorship and feels that there is nothing more to investigate.
Rosengart cited an October 22 email correspondence from Jamie's attorney that read, "As far as Jamie is concerned, the conservatorship is done and can be terminated immediately ... So it is said in no uncertain terms my client has no interest in continuing the conservatorship and I will join in any effort to terminate immediately ..."

The Crossroads star's lawyer fired back, "It is of no moment, presently, whether Mr. Spears's reversal was motivated by a desire to bolster his reputation or to avoid his deposition or responding to the outstanding discovery served on him in August."
As OK! previously reported, Britney recently took to Instagram to slam her family for "hurting her." The chart topper wrote in an October 25, post, "This message is to my family ... for hurting me deeper than you'll ever know !!!"
"I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice !!! I'm only 5'4" and I've played the bigger person my entire life ... do you know how hard that is ???" Britney stated in the note.
