Este Haim opened up about marriage and shared why couples should continue pursuing each other even after saying "I do."
"You should always be dating. You should always be working toward having a better relationship. Relationships are work, and I think people forget about that," Haim said.
Seven months after marrying tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin, the 40-year-old musician and actress reflected on what she had learned about relationships with People.

Haim and Levin married on December 31, 2025, in Ojai, California, after announcing their 10-month-earlier engagement in February 2025.

Este Haim discussed her wedding experience while promoting 'Voicemails for Isabelle' in June.
Haim and Levin had kept details about when they first began dating private. However, Haim revealed to GQ in 2025 that they had met a couple of years earlier after she went on a blind date "with a friend of a friend of a friend."
At the June premiere of Netflix's Voicemails for Isabelle, which Haim scored with Amanda Yamate, she encouraged brides to stay present during their celebrations.
"Have as much fun as possible. Just enjoy it," she said.

Este Haim Shared What She Would Have Done Differently
Este Haim reflected on her wedding day and said she wished she had taken more time to appreciate the celebration.
Haim admitted that the excitement had made it difficult for her to take in the moment fully.
She revealed, "I was so overwhelmed [at my wedding]."
"I mean, I enjoyed my wedding so much. But I wish that I had also just stopped for a second and took it in. I didn’t get to do that. Just take it in for a second and just have the best time. Have so much fun. All those people might not be in the same room ever again," she added.
Este Haim Had Advice for Single People
Este Haim encouraged single people to embrace their independence and enjoy life.
At the New York City premiere of One Night Only, Haim also had a message for those not currently in relationships.
Rather than viewing being single as something to rush through, she encouraged people to enjoy their lives and make the most of their experiences.
"If you’re single, go have fun. You know, we’re on a spinning rock in a vast universe, like, go have a good time, yeah," she explained.
One Night Only centers around two strangers whose unexpected encounter brought them together in NYC on a night when single people were given an unusual opportunity to connect.
