Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith looked back on their decades-long love story with a series of rare throwback photos.
"Happy 25th wedding anniversary my love! What an adventure life is with you. Looking forward to the next 25 years beside you @piercebrosnanofficial," Smith wrote alongside an Instagram carousel shared on August 5.
The couple got married in Ireland in 2001 after dating for seven years and share two sons, Dylan, 29, and Paris, 25.

Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith's Love Story Began Unexpectedly
Pierce Brosnan praised Keely Shaye Smith, saying he found a great woman in her and could not have found anyone better.
According to People, Brosnan and Smith first crossed paths at a party in Mexico in 1994.
Smith, who was working as a journalist at the time, had been sent to interview actor Ted Danson. When Danson stepped away, she ended up meeting Brosnan instead.
"I found a great woman in Keely Shaye," Brosnan said. "Not if I searched a million times over would I find one as good."
Smith also recalled being drawn to the actor’s charm when they first met.
"He was captivating," she admitted.
She added, "Tall, dark and handsome–everything that everybody would immediately be attracted to. He had this mischievous sparkle in his eyes. I thought, 'Wow! Wow!'"

Pierce Brosnan met Keely Shaye Smith after the loss of his first wife, Cassandra Harris, in 1991.
Their relationship began during a difficult chapter in Brosnan's life. He met Smith more than two years after his first wife, Cassandra Harris, died from ovarian cancer in 1991. Brosnan and Harris shared son Sean, and he also adopted her children, Charlotte and Christopher.
The family experienced another heartbreaking loss in 2013 when Charlotte died from ovarian cancer at age 41.
