Kelly Osbourne Candidly Admits Relapse, But Promises She Will Be 'Sober Tomorrow' — Watch

Kelly Osbourne is coming clean on not being clean. The 36-year-old revealed she relapsed in her sobriety in a candid video posted to her Instagram Story on Monday, April 19.

While talking to the camera with a filter on the video, Osbourne hesitantly told her 2.3 million followers that she broke her sobriety. However, Osbourne claimed she is now back on the wagon and will elaborate more on what's been going on in her life behind closed doors later this week.

"This is a little hard for me to talk about but I always promised you that I would be honest with you about where I'm at and what's going on in my road to recovery," Osbourne began before emotionally admitting: "I relapsed. Not proud of it."

"But I am back on track and I will be doing a podcast this week where I will be telling everyone what's been going on and what happened," she shared, adding with a smile: "I just want to let you know that I am sober today and I will be sober tomorrow."

Osbourne also reflected on her road to sobriety, explaining: "I've learned it truly is one day at a time, and I just wanted to tell you guys the truth because I never, ever want to lie to you."

The daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne marked her three years of sobriety in August 2020 after a lengthy battle with drug and alcohol addiction.

In 2009, Osbourne opened up about her first interaction with drugs, confessing that she was prescribed liquid Vicodin at 13 after she had her tonsils removed.

After a six-year battle with sobriety — which included four visits to rehab, six detoxes and one trip to a mental institution — Osbourne ultimately got sober because she knew it was coming down to life or death.

"For me, it was either I was going to die, or I was going to get help," Kelly previously told PEOPLE. "I decided that I wanted to live, that life is worth living and that I have an incredible family and friends and why am I allowing myself to be so miserable?"

In 2018, the former Fashion Police host celebrated her first year of sobriety— after she relapsed one year prior — and credited her family, brother Jack and her parents for helping her through her journey.

"I want to take this time to thank my brother @jackosbourne who answered the phone to me one year ago today and picked me up from where I had fallen yet again without judgment. He has held my hand [throughout] this whole process," she shared at the time.
