Job seekers were allegedly 'forbidden' from talking to Meghan Markle as she looked over their résumés.

The source also claimed applicants were told to give Meghan, 45, their résumés and stand quietly while she poured over them.

“They would hand over their résumé, then be told to stand off to the side of the room, not speak and not make eye contact while Meghan sat there and reviewed it,” they stated.

“She wouldn’t ask them questions or have any kind of actual conversation with them. She would take her time reading through the résumé, look the person up and down and then simply tell them they could leave," the insider continued of the hiring process.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left The Firm six years ago.

The As Ever founder and the Spare author, 41, left the royal family in 2020 and relocated to Montecito, Calif., to set up a new life out of the public eye. They returned to the U.K. on August 26 and are reportedly setting up a private, non-royal residence there that will sit outside of London.

While living on the west coast, the couple experienced a high turnover from their staff, with reports circulating that the Suits alum was a “narcissist” and a “demon.”

The Hollywood Reporter spoke to to several of the Sussexes' ex-employees at the time, with one claiming they were "terrified" of Meghan.

“She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears," one individual alleged.
