The internet was outraged after learning that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be moving back to the United Kingdom.
Meghan and Harry abandoned their royal duties and relocated to California in 2020, just two years after they married.
Now, they will head across the pond "for an extended amount of time" in August with their two children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, reportedly set to start school there the following month.
The couple has not shared their reasoning behind the shocking relocation, nor do they intend to resume royal duties at this time.

King Charles and Queen Camilla 'welcome' Prince Harry's return.
The couple's original move abroad seemed to cause a rift within the family, straining Harry's relationships with his father, King Charles, stepmother Queen Camilla and his brother, Prince William.
The announcement, confirmed by People, came after Harry began to make amends with his family, even taking his wife and children across the ocean for a private visit with the king in July.
Charles was reportedly "made aware" of the big move and "welcomes" the opportunity to spend more time with them in a "private and personal capacity."
Meghan and Harry will live in a closely guarded non-royal residence while keeping their properties in California and Portugal.
How Did Experts React?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the United Kingdom in 2020.
Still, given the family's storied history, the internet had a lot to say about the bombshell announcement, especially from those who are not their biggest fans.
"My condolences to His Majesty King Charles...," American commentator Michael Knowles wrote on X.
Sen. John McCain's daughter Meghan McCain called out the couple for being "entitled grifters."
"One thing about Americans is we can see through b------- and we don’t like entitled grifters," she wrote on social media. "They could never hack it here and truly no one gives a s--- about D-list royals. Good luck to our friends in the U.K.; they’re your problem now."
"I may have to emigrate to the U.S.," English Journalist Piers Morgan joked.

Some have speculated that King Charles is 'on his way out' amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's move.
Even average citizens were outraged by the move after the never-ending drama among the family over the past several years.
"I'm guessing Charles is very shortly on his way out," one social media user wrote, alluding to the king's 2024 cancer diagnosis.
"He knows his father’s health is not good, and his power-hungry wife has persuaded him to try and grab the throne when he dies," a second theorized. "Or it’s a tax thing. But my version is more fun."
"Looks like someone has run out of money," another mused, with a fourth adding "Charles got 30 minutes left, surely."
"Harry and Meghan are returning to the UK after living abroad for six consecutive tax years abroad," a fifth speculated. "Which, by coincidence, of course, means their foreign income escapes HMRC anti-tax avoidance investigations."
'A Huge Slap in the Face'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's return is reportedly a 'slap in the face' for Prince William.
Though the king seems to be welcoming his son back with open arms, sources have alleged it's a "huge slap in the face" for William, who is next in line for the throne.
"It’s a huge slap in the face for William, and it does also create serious risks for the monarchy,” royal reporter Tom Sykes said. "What is gonna happen if Charles invites Harry to join the royal family for Christmas? What is gonna happen if Harry wants to attend the Remembrance Day celebrations?"
There had been rumors for several weeks that Harry and Meghan may begin to split their time in the United Kingdom, but Sykes stated that those close to the family "never imagined" it would happen so quickly.
