End of an era! Ryan Seacrest announced he will no longer be hosting red carpets on E! going forward.
"After 14 years of hosting E!’s Live from the Red Carpet I’ve decided to move on to new adventures. I’ll miss the whole crew that works so hard behind the scenes and of course my amazing partner Giuliana [Rancic]. Thanks to everyone for watching all these years."
Of course, celebrities immediately commented on the surprising news. Chris Harrison wrote, “Congratulations on an amazing run my friend,” while Lucy Hale wrote, “Legendary ICON.”
Jason Kennedy, who works for E!, added, “It was a pleasure brother.”
The E! network added, "E! has long enjoyed our relationship with Ryan over the years especially as co-host of E!'s signature red carpet series. He has been instrumental in giving viewers a front row seat to some of Hollywood's biggest nights. We are extremely appreciative of his many contributions and he will always be part of the E! family."

Seacrest, 46, has been on the ground at the Grammy Awards, the Golden Globes and the Oscars and has interviewed a slew of A-listers, including Jennifer Aniston, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Jared Leto, John Legend and many more.
It’s no surprise Seacrest is stepping down from the coveted role since he is one of the busiest men in Hollywood. Not only does the television personality host Live with Kelly and Ryan every morning, but he also hosts American Idol and his radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Seacrest also has a men’s clothing line, Ryan Seacrest Distinction, his own production company, RSP, (which produces Keeping Up With the Kardashians), in addition to his non-profit, the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
Despite juggling many jobs, Seacrest insists he loves what he does. “I’m 100% better with a little bit of controlled chaos,” he told Billboard.com. “I just know if I have three things to do, or nine things to do, I’m just better at them if I have nine.”
