Erika Jayne's Estranged Ex Tom Girardi Spotted With A Black Eye In Rare Sighting Since Dementia Diagnosis
Erika Jayne’s estranged husband Tom Girardi was spotted in a rare sighting since his legal woes have dominated headlines sporting a rather obscure accessory.
The once well-respected lawyer was snapped with a visibly bruised left eye as he was being accompanied to his vehicle by an unidentified woman.
In photos published by Page Six, Girardi — who was reportedly diagnosed with dementia and late-onset Alzheimer's disease earlier this year — looked out of it wearing an oversized blue shirt tucked into baggy khaki shorts. It is unclear how the 82-year-old sustained the injury.
As OK! previously reported, Girardi’s brother, Robert, was recently named as the sole conservator of his estate. Court documents alleged that Girardi was suffering from a “major neurocognitive disorder” and was the reason for the conservatorship being put into place.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and Girardi — who split in November 2020 — have found themselves wrapped up in multiple lawsuits, including a civil suit in which Girardi is accused of fraud and embezzling money from a Boeing 737 airplane crash settlement fund.

Creditors claim that Girardi spent millions of the money intended for the family of the victims in the crash to furnish the reality TV star’s lavish lifestyle.
In an attempt to collect some cash to hopefully pay off some of the creditors, Girardi’s possessions he left abandoned in his law firm offices are being auctioned off. The trustee presiding over Girardi’s involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy case recently hired auction company ThreeSixty Asset Advisors to put together the sale.
Some of the prized possessions left behind include a 100+ bottled wine collection, bronzed statues, a signed picture of former President Ronald Reagan and a Cadillac.
A flashy item found in the lot that is expected to fetch a decent amount of dough is a signed movie poster of Hollywood legend Julia Roberts from the Oscar-winning film, Erin Brockovich. Girardi gained notoriety as one of the lawyers who helped Erin Brockovich defeat the corrupt Pacific Gas and Electric Company and garner a $460 settlement for the people of Hinkley, Calif.
