"I wish him nothing but the best," she shared. "I don’t like kicking a man when he’s down. But I leave that to other folks."
Sunny Hostin also felt bad for Woods, noting he hadn't consumed alcohol prior to driving but was found with two hydrocodone pills in his pocket. Hostin pointed out that the golfer has endured multiple injuries and surgeries and "lives with back pain."

Sara Haines said she's hopeful for the golfer's future.
"We talk about the opiate crisis in this country with such empathy, but when it comes to Tiger Woods, for some reason, we don’t seem to have that empathy for him," she continued.
Hostin clarified she wasn't "excusing the fact that he was driving while under the influence, but I think we need to show someone who is a sports legend, who may have been pushed very hard as a child, and have some grace for the pain that he’s living with."
She also pointed out how he's likely "struggling with the fact that he may have to give up the one thing that he loves to do."

When Was Tiger Woods Arrested?

Tiger Woods has been behind the wheel in multiple car crashes.
As OK! reported, authorities were alerted about Woods' crash on March 27 in Jupiter Island, Fla.
The sports icon claimed the accident was a result of him being distracted by changing the radio and looking at his phone.
"The driver of [the pickup truck] looked in his mirror and saw a dark colored Land Rover overtaking him at high speeds," an officer involved in the situation reported. "He tried to edge off to the side of the road, but this is a small two-lane road and there was no shoulder for this pressure cleaner gentleman to get off the side of the road. As he was trying to move to the side of the road, the Land Rover overtook him at the last minute, swerved to avoid a collision, but clipped the back end of the trailer."
Tiger Woods Is Seeking Treatment

The athlete revealed he's seeking treatment and focusing on his health.
The star showed signs of impairment and appeared glassy-eyed in his mugshot.
Though he passed a breathalyzer test, he refused to do a urine test.
On Tuesday, March 31, Woods announced he was getting help.
"I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today," he wrote via social media. "I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery."
