“I always do cardio before working the muscle groups,” Kufa said.“The muscles will already be warm, so the risk of injury is lessened. With Fergie, we run up to five miles, blasting it in half an hour or doing a more gentle 45- to 50-minute jog.”

You can’t miss Fergie’s abs in her new video, L.A. Love! But it’s no walk in the park to get as ripped as Fergie. “To warm up the area, we start with as many crunches as she can do without a break,” Kufa said. “To strengthen, you have to go past your comfort level. Most people do 20 to 50 crunches; we do 200 to 600.”

For her toned pins and booty, “squats are key,” Kofa said. “I stand in front of Fergie and she grabs onto my wrists, her arms crossed, feet a bit wider than the hips. Holding onto me, she can sit all the way back.” Sounds intense!
