7 Reasons Why 2015 Will Be The Best Year Yet For The Teen Mom Girls

2015 is already going to go down in history as the only year ever where every single one of the Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 girls is in a happy relationship. Well, except for Farrah Abraham, who may or may not be dating a married man. But anyway, relationship news aside, we have a feeling the next three hundred and sixty-something days are going to be pretty epic for our fave MTV stars, both on and off-screen. Here’s 7 reasons why 2015 will be the girls’ happiest, most drama-free year to date.

Aside from 2014, Jenelle Evans’ past few years have been tumultuous, to put it mildly. She was arrested numerous times, doing hard drugs with bad news boyfriends, always “high high high” (thanks, Babs), and didn’t even have custody of her own son! But now, Jenelle is sober, mature, and engaged to Nathan Griffith, the first decent guy she’s dated. Looks like this is the year that Jenelle will finally give Jace and her youngest son, Kaiser, a real family.

While Ryan Edwards’ relationship status is still unclear, Maci Bookout has never been more in love than she is with Taylor McKinney, her BF of about two years. Maci and Taylor will welcome a baby girl in June, and Maci hinted that their wedding will happen shortly afterwards. So yup, let’s just say season 5 of Teen Mom is going to be the best one ever.

Let’s all bid adieu to Adam Lind, because Chelsea Houska has finally moved on, ladies and gents! Chelsea started dating Cole DeBoer in August of ’14, who’s good-looking, successful, and, you know, doesn’t have a criminal record (unlike some other people). But boyfriend news aside, 2015 is going to be great for Chels because she’s finally got her career together and is living in a house she bought herself. We’re pretty sure there’s only good things ahead!

Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, have been through a lot of things, but a divorce will not be one of them. Kail started off the New Year by squashing rumors of marital trouble, so we’re glad to know things are a-okay with these two cuties. And speaking of cuties, Kail has two adorable sons, Isaac and Lincoln, a gorgeous home in Delaware, her very own line of t-shirts—and is officially no longer speaking to the mother who just brings her down. We’ve got high hopes for 2015!

In 2014, Amber Portwood maintained her sobriety, released her first book, Never Too Late, and had her first real boyfriend since Gary Shirley, Matthew Maier. And despite reports that Matt might not be the best catch, we’re happy when Amber’s happy. We just hope Amber can stay upbeat in 2015 despite the sudden loss of her father :(.

Leah Calvert tweeted that 2014 was the best year of her life, but um, we beg to differ. Her husband Jeremy almost divorced her after he thought she (possibly) cheated on him, Leah reportedly overdosed on some pills, and she almost lost custody of her twin daughters in a matter of months! But with her and Corey Simms’ custody battle behind her and her marriage seemingly stable, 2015 is lookin’ up for Leah.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra started off 2015 in the best way possible—by having a baby! Nova Reign has made the couple happier than they’ve ever been, and we imagine their hearts will only get bigger after they reportedly get married this August. And oh, let us not forget that the couple’s first book, Conquering Chaos, will be here in March!
