The 17-year-old was born in Los Angeles, California November 3, 1995 to parents Kris and Bruce Jenner.
Kendall has one younger sister, Kylie by the same parents—then from her father's first marriage to Chrystie Crownover she has half brother, Burt and half sister, Cassandra.

From Bruce's second marriage—to actress/singer Linda Thompson, she has half brothers Brandon and Brody.
Then, on her mom's more famous side, she has half sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney and half brother, Rob from Kris' first marriage to attorney Robert Kardashian.

The Kardashian name secured its place in pop culture history in February 2007 after a sex tape Kim made in 2003 with her then-boyfriend, Ray J, was leaked to the public.
In October of the same year E! premiered Keeping up With the Kardashians, a reality show following the day-to-day lives of the Kardashian family along with Bruce, Kylie and Kendall.

Kendall was still a grade-schooler when the show first launched and made only brief appearances throughout the first few seasons but as she has grown older, her on-camera time has grown longer.
In 2011, E! broadcast a special called Kendall's Sweet 16 which documented her blowout birthday bash and taking her driving test, and since then her appearances have been more frequent on the Kardashian family shows.

However, despite growing up on TV, and being part of a mega-famous family, Kendall insists she and Kylie, want to keep their lives as regular as possible.
“I don’t want to be a big part of the show," the teenager told the NY Times in an interview earlier this month.

"Neither does my little sister, only because we want for a little while to keep our somewhat normal lives.”
What's "somewhat normal" though for Kendall would be anything but for your run of the mill teen!

Kendall's reluctance to be seen on camera too much is reflected in the amount she earns from the $40 million deal Kris Jenner negotiated for three more years of Kardashian reality fare.
That said, the $5,000 an episode that Kendall scores is certainly not to be sniffed at.

Kendall's main source of income though is derived from her modeling career—which is taking off like a rocket ship!
Jenner began her modeling career after signing with the respected Wilhelmina agency when she was just 14!
Her first high profile gig was a campaign for Forever 21, and other print work quickly followed, including photo shoots with American Cheerleader, Teen Vogue, Girlfriend and Seventeen magazine, for whom she and Kylie are employed as "style ambassadors."
Kendall's also becoming a regular fixture on the catwalk, modeling for Forever 21 and Sherri Hill among others.
Recently though it seems she's ramping it up a notch—in the past few months Kendall's graced the front cover of Australian Miss Vogue, Harper's Bazaar Arabia and Cosmopolitan.
Like her older half sisters Kendall also brings home the bacon by tweeting, commanding up to $5,000 a message to her 5.5 million followers!
