Alex Cooper’s new Hulu reality show Love Overboard was canceled by the network just after one season.

The show premiered in March of this year and was hosted by The Bachelorette alum Gabby Windey.

Cooper worked as an executive producer on the nine-episode series that centered on 22 single people aboard a luxury yacht, where they competed to find love and win a luxurious life. Per Page Six, Disney scrapped the series due to low viewership.

An insider told the outlet that the reality show “wasn’t finding its audience,” which led to the show being scrapped.

The cancellation of Love Overboard came at a time when the rising media mogul is already facing a rough patch in her career.

Per TMZ, Cooper’s Unwell Beverage Co. is on the verge of shutting down less than two years after its launch.

The outlet reported that the company will stop production after a final batch of seasonal flavors hits the store shelves.

However, despite the dating show’s cancellation, Disney reportedly is still trying to maintain a strong professional relationship with the “Call Her Daddy” host.

The insider said as much to Page Six, noting, “Disney has a great relationship with Alex and is in development with her on a few projects.”

In fact, per TMZ, Cooper’s company has announced more than eight shows under Unwell Productions, with several of them being in collaboration with Hulu.

One notable project among them happens to be a scripted drama starring The Vampire Diaries costars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley, titled You Deserve To Know.

Cooper’s company recently landed a massive investment from Patrick Whitesells investment firm, WTSL, that resulted in the company being valued at $500 million. She also reportedly signed with CAA recently to further her career in Hollywood, per Page Six.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the podcaster is also ready to launch her YouTube reality series Unwell Summer Games on September 7, reportedly a sequel to Unwell Winter Games, which premiered earlier this year.

In the upcoming series, 16 reality TV and internet personalities will compete against each other for a $250,000 cash prize. Per the outlet, the show was filmed over four days at a luxury ranch in Canada.

Alex Cooper addressed the rumors against her and her husband Matt Kaplan's misbehavior toward Unwell staff members.

The star will be executive producing the show with her husband and co-CEO of Unwell, Matt Kaplan.

Both Cooper and Kaplan came under scrutiny in the recent few months when reports surfaced alleging misbehavior toward the staff of their company.

She addressed the rumors in an interview with The Wall Street Journal at Cannes, saying, “I will say that building a startup, there is so much growth that comes with that, and I am extremely proud of what we have built at Unwell.”

“And I will just kind of leave it at ‘don’t believe everything that you read on the internet’ — but I think everyone knows that at this point,” she added.
