Donald Trump Mocked After Awkwardly Dangling Infant for Photo-Op: 'He's Never Held a Baby in His Life'
Donald Trump faced backlash after very awkwardly attempting to hold a baby — despite having five children of his own.
While posing with supporters for photos, the embattled former POTUS was seen holding a very young infant under her arms without supporting her head or the rest of her body and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
The mother of the baby seemed undisturbed as the controversial politician handed the little one back to her, but critics in the comments section immediately called Trump out for the awkward moment.
"Omg he looks like he’s never held a baby in his f------ life," one user wrote, while another agreed, "That guy has never held a baby before. Not even his own."
"Why is he holding the kid like that. Ugh," a third person said, and a fourth chimed in, "Nothing says I’ve never held a baby before like this photo op."
"That dude is seriously uncomfortable in his own skin," another said, referring to the ex-prez. "Sometimes, I almost feel sorry for him, and then the moment is gone."
Actress Mo Collins from Fear the Walking Dead joked, "He holds babies like a glass of water."

Trump's continued campaigning comes as he battles snowballing legal issues. The 77-year-old, who became the first former U.S. president to ever be criminally charged, is currently facing 91 felony counts over four indictments.
He's also recently been involved in several pricey civil suits. As OK! previously reported, Trump was sued for $250 million by New York Attorney General Letitia James in 2022, and earlier this year, Judge Arthur F. Engoron found him liable for fraud.
Despite his attendance at the high profile trial not being mandatory, Trump claimed the case was keeping him from campaigning.

"I’ve been wasting a lot of time on a case that should have never been brought. You see what’s happening. The government. The government lied. They just lied," Trump said outside of court last week. "They didn’t reveal all the evidence that made me totally innocent of anything that they say. The government lied. They totally misrepresented the case."
"So, unfortunately, I have to be here, I’m not campaigning!" he continued. "I have to be here for this."
