After his shocking split from actress Olivia Wilde after nine years together, Jason Sudeikis, 45, has turned to an iconic Friend for support.
“Jennifer [Aniston] has been providing a shoulder for Jason to cry on,” a source told Rob Shuter, host of the wildly popular “Naughty But Nice” podcast. “If anyone knows about heartache and watching an ex move on quickly with someone else, it is Jen. She has been talking with Jason a lot.”

The source stressed that “when a friend is in need, there is no-one better than Jennifer Aniston,” noting that “she knows the pain of a nasty breakup and knows how long it takes to heal." The insider added, "Jason is distraught but coming to terms with the split.”
Sudeikis and Wilde first started dating in November 2011, and the comedian proposed the next year. They share two children together: Otis Alexander, 6, and Daisy Josephine, 4.

Although Aniston and Sudeikis have known each other for years and worked on several films together, OK! has learned that there could be more between the famous friends. “Jennifer always says Jason makes her laugh the way no one else can,” a friend told OK!, adding that while Sudeikis is primarily focusing on co-parenting his kids, he’s long harbored warm and fuzzy feelings toward Aniston.
“Jason would love to ask her out,” added a pal, noting that the only thing holding him back is the potential to ruin their solid friendship. “But so many folks in their circle think they’re perfect for each other,” continued the friend, “and they’ve already done enough kissing scenes to know the lay of the land!”
Meanwhile Sudeikis' ex has moved on with former boybander Harry Styles, 26. A source close to the couple told OK! that the pair have been quietly dating for weeks since meeting on the set of their upcoming film, Don’t Worry Darling.
"Everyone knows Harry's a big flirt, and she fell under his spell," the source said of Wilde, 36, who directs, produces and stars in the upcoming psychological horror flick. "There was something strong happening between her and Harry from the beginning. They started spending all their free time together, including in her trailer and at the house Styles was borrowing from his pal James Corden." And now, added the source, "they're in that happy stage and enjoying themselves."
While some have questioned the pair's 10-year age difference, the source said the former One Direction singer and the Booksmart star aren't bothered by what others think. "Harry happens to like older women and thinks Olivia is beautiful, strong, smart and talented," the source dished, adding that the actress is super into Styles as well. "She likes guys who are a little offbeat and finds Harry is a total joy to be around."
