'Bachelor' Alum Melissa Rycroft Revealed Clare Crawley & Dale Moss Were 'Probably Not Gonna Work Out' Before Split — Watch
Called it! Bachelor alum Melissa Rycroft didn't think Clare Crawley and Dale Moss' relationship would last from the get-go.
When asked which Bachelor Nation couple she was surprised were still together, the 37-year-old said, "Well, right now, Clare and Dale."
"We haven’t seen the deep intimate talks and … there is a big difference between a 39-year-old woman and a 31-year-old guy," Rycroft explained. "Does [Dale] want to get married next year and have kids? Maybe … but he may also kind of get a taste of what Bachelor Nation can do to somebody and then say, 'You know what? I don’t want to be tied down right now and I want to experience all of this.' I mean, the pessimist in me is saying it’s probably not going to work out."
Ultimately, Moss and Crawley called it quits earlier this month. "I wanted share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways. We appreciate the love and support we've received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time," Moss announced on January 19.
However, the split quickly got messy when Crawley chimed in days later and said she was not "made aware of a 'mutual' statement at the same time you all were."
While Moss and Crawley did not share the reason for the split, cheating rumors have since swirled. OK! exclusively reported that Moss was spotted with another woman in NYC.
"He went to an event at Hugo Boss and was seen leaving with three model types," a source spilled in November 2020. "He was later joined by a fourth who seemed to be his friend. Then, he was spotted drinking outside in SoHo, where he was kissing one woman, but like pecks."

The couple reportedly had "been fighting a lot recently" — specifically about relocating. Moss is said to have been "unsure" about "rushing into something" with Crawley.
The pair famously got engaged on The Bachelorette after two weeks of knowing each other, and Crawley left the show to be with Moss.
"Clare gave up so much to be with Dale, and now he has dumped her. She feels used and is alone again because of his endless ambition," a source recently told OK!.
"Clare is based in Sacramento and doesn’t want to move to New York or L.A. to pursue a career in show business. She had fun being on reality TV but now that it is over, she has moved on. She doesn’t want to be a TV host or on Dancing With the Stars. Clare longs for a normal life away from the spotlight. However, Dale is very career focused and believes this is his moment to strike while the iron is hot."
"You can’t blame him for wanting to go after his career goals. He doesn’t want to go from being a TV star to working at a regular job," a pal said.
Us Weekly was the first to report on how Rycroft felt about Moss and Crawley's relationship.
