Is Victoria Larson The Villain On Matt James' Season Of 'The Bachelor'? Bachelor Nation Erupts

Even though Matt James’ season just started on January 4, it seems like the villain has already been identified, and it’s none other than “Queen” Victoria Larson.
The 27-year-old’s entrance on The Bachelor was memorable, to say the least. Larson arrived to the Nemacolin Resort in Pennsylvania — where they filmed the whole season — on a throne, carried by four men.
The contestant — who wore a glitzy dress and a crown throughout the whole evening — exuded confidence while speaking with the stud, 29. “So, I’m Victoria, like the queen, and I’m looking for a king with a good heart. So, I heard that’s you, King Matt,” she told the athlete.

Of course, Larson ruffled some feathers while mingling with the other ladies. “Queen Victoria is definitely more of a drama queen,” Anna Redman said, while Katie Thurston added, “Victoria has been a mean girl since day one.”
Despite the drama, Larson managed to get one of James’ roses, which left fans shocked. “Wait WHAT!? Queen Victoria got a rose???? I can’t believe that was entirely Matt’s decision and not at all a producer rose!!” one person wrote, while another added, “Bachelor producers forcing Matt to keep Victoria so they have a villain for this season #TheBachelor.”
Even Demi Burnett — who was on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor — was not feeling Larson. “Victoria already made herself an enemy tonight. It’s me. You don’t know s**t about being the queen you just got here. You gotta earn your crown #TheBachelor,” she wrote on Twitter.

After users claimed producers kept Larson around to spice things up, James addressed the rumors. “No, that wasn’t the case, she’s great … I really enjoyed Victoria,” he told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday, January 4.

“I appreciated everything about Victoria’s entrance and who she was because … whatever you need to do to stand out she did it,” James added. “I remembered her name, and it was lighthearted and it broke the ice.”
Only time will tell if Larson will win over James!
The Bachelor airs on ABC on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
