Denise Richards Not Returning To 'RHOBH' After Two Seasons — Is Brandi Glanville To Blame?
She’s out!
Denise Richards will not be returning The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after two seasons on the Bravo show.
A rep for the 49-year-old confirmed the news to Variety on Wednesday, September 9. The announcement came hours before part two of the season 10 reunion airs on Bravo.
The actress — best known for her starring roles in films like Wild Things, Starship Troopers and The World Is Not Enough — joined the reality series in 2018. While her first season was relatively drama free, Richards found herself the center of controversy in her second when she was plagued with rumors of a steamy affair with former RHOBH star Brandi Glanville.

Fighting with nearly every one of her co-stars, Richards struggled to gain control of the drama despite her best efforts. In one episode this season, while the ladies were having a heated dinner in Rome, the mom-of-three broke down the fourth wall yelling, “Bravo Bravo Bravo,” in an attempt stop filming. The trick did not work, and Richards was forced to confront the mounting allegations involving Glanville over and over again.

“I did not have an affair,” Denise, who is married to Aaron Phypers, told The Washington Post back in July. “If I had an open marriage, I would be open about it.”

Richards' exit comes as no surprise to RHOBH fans. In addition to walking off the virtual reunion, she previously teased her future plans by saying that she would return for season 11 if “it makes sense.”
The former Bond girl is just the latest housewife to shake things up with her departure. Lisa Vanderpump said goodbye to the franchise last year after nine seasons, and Real Housewives of New York‘s Dorinda Medley announced last month she’s leaving the show after a six-season run.
