Dwyane Wade's Baby Mama Aja Metoyer Vents About Her 'Temper' After Gabrielle Union Puts Her On Blast In New Book: 'From Zero To Prison Real Fast'
Sending a subtle message!
After Gabrielle Union detailed the heartbreak she endured after now-hubby Dwyane Wade fathered a child with Aja Metoyer, the reality TV star has been sending a series of cryptic messages on social media.
Wade’s baby mama welcomed now-7-year-old son Xavier in 2013 while the former NBA star and the Bring It On actress were on a break.
Although Metoyer hasn’t officially spoken out following Union rehashing the ordeal in her book You Got Anything Stronger?, the Basketball Wives star has been quite busy online.
“I avoid sh*t because I’m scared of ME, not you,” she shared via Instagram Story on Friday, September 17, adding: “Temper go from zero to prison real fast.”
As OK! previously reported, Union recalled her initial reaction to the former athlete fathering another woman’s child while she was experiencing fertility issues.
“To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience. There are people — strangers who I will never meet — who have been upset that I have not previously talked about that trauma,” the 48-year-old actress wrote in her new memoir, which hit shelves earlier this week.

“I have not had words, and even after untold amounts of therapy I am not sure I have them now. But truth matters,” she recalled.
When Wade broke the news to Union ahead of little Xavier’s arrival, the duo had been trying to conceive a child of their own. They got engaged in December 2014 following their brief split.
“The experience of Dwyane having a baby so easily — while I was unable to — left my soul not just broken into pieces, but shattered into fine dust scattering in the wind,” the Being Mary Jane star explained. “We gathered what we could to slowly remake me into something new. There was no way to disguise where I’d been glued back together.”
The L.A.’s Finest alum’s insecurities began to eat her alive as she failed to conceive, saying she remembered thinking, “This woman is such a failure. And she has the nerve to be old. And she has the nerve to have a younger husband. And she has the nerve to stick with a guy who had a kid with somebody else,” she said. Union admitted that her “feelings weren’t originating from a healthy place” during that period.
Ultimately the duo chose each other and surrogacy and welcomed daughter Kaavia in 2018. The 39-year-old retired Miami Heat player is also father to Zaire, 19, and Zaya, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches.
