Jamie Foxx revealed that he was conflicted about welcoming a child at 58 until Al Pacino convinced him otherwise.
The actor appeared for an interview with E! News alongside his oldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, 32, whom he shares with ex Connie Klein, in a segment published on August 21.
He also has another daughter, Annalise Bishop, 17, whom he shares with ex Kristin Grannis.
Jamie Foxx Shared That Al Pacino Boosted His Confidence About Becoming a Father at 58
Al Pacino welcomed a son, Roman, just two years ago at the age of 84.
During the conversation, the star said, “Being my age, I was a little on the fence.”
“But then I ran into Al Pacino a few months ago,” he continued.
The Godfather star welcomed a son, Roman, just two years ago, with his ex, Noor Alfallah.
“I said, ‘Al, you gonna be back in the drop-off line?’” Jamie joked.
“I said, ‘Aw man, shoot, I’m good,’” he added.
The Django Unchained star is expecting his third child with his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, per TMZ.

The 31-year-old and the movie star initially started dating in 2023. However, they reportedly split in January 2025. The pair seemingly reconnected just a couple of months later, as they were photographed hanging out together in Malibu, per People.
The duo reportedly also spent time in Miami last October with a large group of friends. They seemingly enjoyed touring the Miami River before sharing a meal at a Greek restaurant at the time, per the outlet.

Corinne Foxx is Excited to See Her Father Embrace Parenthood Again
Corinne Foxx admitted she is excited to welcome a baby sibling.
Corinne also noted her excitement about seeing her father embrace parenthood again during the interview with E! News.
She stated that the Back in Action star happens to be a great dad and a great colleague, whom she enjoys working with on the show Beat Shazam.
“I grew up going to set with my dad and watching him work from behind the camera,” she said.
“But then to be his coworker and the level of professionalism, but also, he’s so light and so funny,” she added.
Jamie Foxx said his daughter helped him get back on his feet after his near-fatal brain hemorrhage in 2023.
The 32-year-old, who currently manages daily operations at her father's entertainment company Foxxhole Productions, also claimed, “I just feel like I learned that you don’t have to be so serious to be great at your job.”
“You kind of set the tone for everybody on set and he does a great job doing that,” she explained.
The Collateral star, who suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage in 2023, also piled on praise for his children, saying, “A few years back, I went through something horrible.”
“My daughter made sure I got back. Now, seeing that I have a new life and to have my daughters embrace it, that’s all that matters, you know,” he added.
“This is part of living—having a new life to live and share with is amazing,” he concluded.
