Mario Lopez Reveals the Secret to His Long-Lasting Marriage to Wife Courtney Mazza

Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza have been together for over a decade — and now the famous TV personality has let people in on how they sustain a happy marriage!

“Courtney and I make each other and our relationship a priority, and the secret is laughter – we’re always laughing and having fun together,” the TV host, who teamed up with Laffy Taffy to launch of The Last Laff, its first-ever, limited-edition card game, exclusively reveals to OK! when asked about how the couple keeps their spark alive.

The actor also shares some traditions he and Mazza share with their three kids, Gia, 13, Dominic, 10, and Santino, 4.

“Game night is a longstanding tradition for my family. It’s a great way to bring everyone together to create memories,” he says, adding that the brood often plays Laffy Taffy’s new card game, The Last Laff.

“Candy and great snacks are a must, of course. We try to establish the rules early on and make sure that the game is fair for everyone, and we love to switch up the games that we play. Winning is great, but to me, game night is really just about spending quality family time together,” the famous interviewer continues.

The father-of-three gushes over his kids and what parenting has taught him.

“Being a parent has helped me realize what’s important – and family is everything. Coming home and laughing with my wife and kids is my favorite part of the day and makes me feel like I can do anything,” he explains. “I’m so proud of my kids Gia, Dominic and Santino and all they do — from music, to sports and even jiu-jitsu. It makes me so proud that family time is a priority to them, too.”

The Saved by the Bell alum recently turned 50 and raves about how he was able to honor this momentous birthday with all his favorite people.

“My colleagues helped me kick off my birthday celebration by surprising me with heartfelt well wishes from friends old and new, and Courtney even jumped out of a cake! It was awesome to spend this special day alongside my family and children, they’re everything to me,” the Access Hollywood host spills.

But the festivities did not stop there, as he also "took a trip to Mexico with my family and friends to celebrate and spend time together. That’s my birthday wish, good times with loved ones,” he adds.

The star also mentions what he is looking forward to most in this next chapter of his life.

“Everything! I’m excited to keep going for another 50 years with my amazing family and friends,” he says.

“I’m also looking forward to continuing to do what I love, whether it’s interviewing the most interesting people in the world, laughing with my colleagues, or collaborating with brands I’ve loved since I was a kid, like Laffy Taffy. I’m grateful for all I’ve accomplished and won’t be stopping anytime soon,” Lopez notes, referencing his partnership with the candy brand.
