Martha Stewart recounted meeting Meghan Markle.
The lifestyle guru recently appeared in an interview with People, published on August 5, just two days after her 85th birthday on August 3. During the conversation, the topic turned to how the former self-made billionaire fares at parties.
"My friends call me LIFO: last in, first out. I don’t like cocktail parties terribly much. I don’t like standing around," she began.
She also admitted that "if it’s a dinner, I like to get there when people are about to sit down. And then I like to leave shortly after dessert is served. But I have a good time while I’m there."
The Entertaining author then revealed that while attending such a dinner party, she had an encounter with the Suits alum.

Martha Stewart said Meghan Markle kept talking about reuniting with King Charles during a dinner party shortly after her return to the U.S.
"I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night," she said, before adding, "We were both guests at a dinner party in California."
Stewart also pointed out that the party took place just a few days after the Duchess returned to the United States after her much-anticipated visit to the U.K.
She acknowledged that she "didn’t talk to her really more than to say a couple [of] words."
"But I know she was talking about it," she said, referring to the highly publicized visit.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Reunited Their Children With the Ailing Monarch After Four Years

Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet were able to join Prince Harry while meeting King Charles at Highgrove House.
Although the Sussexes were expected to visit Prince Harry's homeland for an extended trip while he promoted his upcoming Invictus Games 2027, a security ordeal prevented that from happening.
Shortly before the family of four was due to travel to the U.K., Harry announced that he would be making the trip alone, leaving it unclear whether his family would be able to join him later for a family reunion.
However, on Friday, July 10, it was confirmed that the prodigal son reunited with his family, including his wife and two children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, as they met with his 77-year-old father.

Prince Harry reunited his family with King Charles III after four years.
The meeting reportedly marked a significant milestone, as the family patriarch got to meet his grandkids and daughter-in-law for the first time since their last visit to the country in 2022.
The ailing king's battle with cancer also continues at the moment, which added another layer of emotion to the family meeting.
Per Daily Mail, a large convoy of cars provided the Sussexes with the perfect cover to remain shielded from cameras as Chanel held a private luncheon at the Highgrove Estate on the same date.
