Janelle Brown hard launched new boyfriend on Instagram 4 years after split from Kody Brown.

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown recently introduced her new beau four years after her split from Kody Brown.
The 57-year-old shot to fame starring in the TLC series Sister Wives, which documented the lives of Kody and his four wives, Meri Brown, Janelle, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown, and their 18 children.
Janelle Brown showed off her new love on Instagram.
Although Kody was only legally married to Meri, his first wife, from 1990 to 2014, they divorced so he could legally marry his fourth wife, Robyn.
Kody and Meri remained together after their legal separation in a spiritual marriage, much like the rest of the family patriarch’s other wives.
The 55-year-old later dissolved her spiritual marriage in 2023, after 33 years together.
Janelle Brown Debuted New Romance on Instagram
Janelle Brown was married to Kody Brown from 1993 to 2022.
Janelle, who had been married to Kody from 1993 until deciding to part ways in 2022, shared an Instagram post on Tuesday, August 18. The post featured a photo of her and a man smiling at the camera and embracing in front of what appeared to be a creek.
Janelle’s new partner rocked a blue T-shirt and hung his glasses from the front of it, while the reality TV star wore a dark peach-and-white printed top in the snap.
She also kept her blonde locks tucked away from her face in the shot, giving a clear view of just how happy she seemed in her new relationship.
“Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared,” the 57-year-old wrote in the caption.
“I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you,” she continued.

Janelle Brown introduced her new boyfriend Pete on Instagram on Tuesday, August 18.
“And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed. And it has been pretty wonderful,” she added.
The mom-of-six concluded the post, writing, “Everyone, please meet Pete.”
Her former sister-wife Christine commented under the post, “He’s such an awesome guy!! They are so cute together and he's a construction worker 👷 like David!!”
Christine was the first to dissolve her spiritual marriage to Kody in 2021. She debuted her new romance to David Woolley on Valentine's Day 2023, and they wed later that year.
Janelle Brown Previously Said She Struggled to Balance Her Faith and Her Love Life Post Kody Brown Split
Three of Kody Brown's four wives split from him after decades of marriage.
Although she made the decision to part ways with Kody, Janelle revealed during a reunion episode the next year that she had been struggling to reconcile her new reality with her religious beliefs.
“I deeply believe in my faith. I have been so much at peace that I don't know how to reconcile that,” she said at the time.
“So that's where my debate with myself is all the time because I know I'm happy. I don't want him to come back, but my faith requires that we are married eternally,” she added.
Janelle Brown previously stated that she wasn't looking for a new relationship after her split from Kody Brown.
She also reflected on her life after her divorce from her ex-husband during an appearance on the “Sibling Revelry” podcast in 2025.
“I'm not really interested in getting married again or even really dating at this stage,” she remarked.
“So I'm not even thinking about, like, 'Oh, what do I need to do?' Because I'm just like, I am over [it],” she added.
