'The Healthiest Decision': Dale Moss Reveals He & Clare Crawley 'Have Decided To Go Their Separate Ways' After Split Rumors Swirl

Unfortunately, Dale Moss and Clare Crawley’s love story has come to an end. The 32-year-old confirmed on Tuesday, January 19, that he and the Bachelorette alum, 39, have split after rumors swirled last week. 

“I wanted [to] share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Moss wrote in a statement via his Instagram Story. “We appreciate the love and support we’ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time.” 

He continued, “We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself — something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives. We only hope the best things for one another.”

Earlier in the day, an insider revealed that the duo was not in a good place. “Clare and Dale have been fighting a lot recently,” the source shared. “They are mainly in disagreement over lifestyle preferences. Dale wants to be in a lively city and focus on his career, and Clare is rooted in Sacramento to help care for her mom. It's been very tense recently between them." 

Moss was also “unsure” about “rushing into something” with Crawley. 

The pair got engaged over the summer after knowing each other for only two weeks. Following their whirlwind romance, Crawley and Moss tried to avoid rumors that there was any trouble in paradise. 

As OK! previously reported, Moss was spotted getting flirty with a woman that wasn’t Crawley while out and about in New York City in November. 

Moss was seen “in SoHo with three women” on Saturday, November 14, an insider revealed. “He went to an event at Hugo Boss and was seen leaving with three model types. He was later joined by a fourth who seemed to be his friend. Then, he was spotted drinking outside in SoHo, where he was kissing one woman, but like pecks.” 

Additionally, people questioned if Moss’ intentions were genuine. Delaina Dixon, former cohost of VH1’s The Gossip Table, revealed that while speaking to Moss in 2016, she felt like he was just using her in order to advance his career in the entertainment industry.

“Chatting with him and hanging out with him, it’s easy to understand why Clare would fall for him so fast,” she said. 

Despite the ups and downs, Moss seemed eager to make things work with the blonde babe. “I’ve never been afraid of commitment. And when I met Clare, I knew I was all in. She lights a fire in me that I was missing for so long,” he said. 

Meanwhile, the California native seemed like she was head-over-heels for her man. “We have this connection where it just feels like I’ve known him forever,” she said. “It’s that intangible chemistry that you just can’t make up and you can’t replace. It’s something that is so rare to feel so connected to someone when you’ve only known them for such a short period of time.”
