Prince Harry’s Solo F1 Trip Seen as 'a Sign of Further Strain' on His Marriage to Meghan Markle
Prince Harry was spotted in Texas for a Formula 1 race, but Meghan Markle was nowhere to be seen. His trip to the southern city follows the Sussexes' joint New York City appearance for World Mental Health Day and their secret vacation in Canouan. Despite their time together, relationship expert Louella Alderson wondered if there is trouble in paradise.
Alderson discussed the ongoing divorce rumors surrounding the Sussexes after Meghan decided to skip King Charles' coronation and Harry's WellChild Awards speech in the U.K.
"Given the recent reports of tension between Harry and Meghan during their trip to the Caribbean, some may view this as a sign of further strain in their relationship," Alderson told an outlet. "It's possible that Harry wanted some time alone to clear his mind and decompress from any tension or stress within their marriage."
Meghan and Harry had a short break from their two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, but Alderson believes the partners made the right call by going to the Caribbean.
"If they are going through a challenging time, it's important for them to take care of themselves individually and as a couple," she divulged. "Harry's solo trip to the U.S. Grand Prix could be interpreted in different ways. It's possible that Meghan chose not to join him because she wasn't interested in the event or had other plans."
"[It's] healthy for them to pursue them individually," the professional noted.
Alderson also had a relatable explanation for Meghan's choice to not attend the car event.
"Meghan may have stayed home to spend time with their children after they both spent time away in the Caribbean without them," she said.
"As parents, it's important for Harry and Meghan to take turns in taking care of their children and giving each other a break. It's possible that Meghan wanted to give Harry some time to himself to enjoy the race without any distractions or responsibilities," she continued.

Harry has a history of being an automobile collector and enjoying watching racecar driving, but Meghan has never publicly expressed an affinity for the track.
"With Prince Harry being with the Mercedes team, it could've been a work-related trip for him," the So Syncd co-founder said. "In this case, Meghan may have stayed back to give him space to focus and do his job without any additional distractions."
"Harry and Meghan will be aware that their actions and presence together can attract a lot of attention, so it's possible that they make conscious decisions to give each other space and privacy when it comes to work commitments," she continued.
Although sources close to the Sussexes defended their union, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield theorized the duo is distancing themselves professionally.
The Royal Observer reported that Schofield predicted Meghan will build her own lifestyle brand.
"There were clear signs of a professional separation when WME announced that they were only signing Meghan Markle," royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told an outlet. "Then the Heart of Invictus trailer was released, and we discovered that Prince Harry was the executive producer — without Meghan."

The journalist believes Meghan's management team is focused on helping her detach from her short time as a working royal.
"I certainly think that Meghan has counsel in her ear telling her that she is better off without Prince Harry and the royal drama — professionally — but Meghan was a working actor before Harry," the podcaster voiced. "She was not a celebrity or a household name. We loved and accepted Meghan because we have loved Prince Harry since he was a little boy."
"He elevated her, and I think people will be much more forgiving of him before they will forgive her," Schofield concluded.
