Before joining Empire Media Group, she served as an Editor for People magazine, where she still writes and contributed to CNN, CNBC, and Cracked, among other outlets. She also appeared as one of Cracked's main YouTube personalities, writing and anchoring videos exploring unique details from popular films and TV shows. Beyond digital journalism, Carly has worked on several documentaries for Hulu, VICE, PBS, and HBO. She graduated from New York University in 2018 with a degree in multimedia journalism. On the rare occasion Carly isn't writing, she can be found playing Cuphead and taking long romantic walks to buy $5 iced coffees.
