Russell Simmons held an emergency press conference Tuesday after the NYPD raided NYC's Zuccotti Park, the home of the Occupy movement.

The rapper-reality star, who is currently in Boston supporting the Occupy Boston movement, gave a speech presenting a Constitutional amendment to ban all but public funding to Federal candidates running for office.

Russell tweeted the next day: "This amtrak trip back to nyc from boston is time to mediate reflect and read. This battle for democracy is gonna be my toughest fight"
