Kate Middleton hit the field today to show off her hockey skills while participating in a match-up with the Team GB team at the Riverside Arena in London's Olympic Park.

Dressed in tight coral pants, a grey sweatshirt and sneakers, the Duchess of Cambridge, who was given the role of ambassador to the British Olympic squads last year, proved why she was named her high school's field hockey captain back in the day.

"This is going to be so embarrassing," Kate told reporters before the game. "My brain thinks I can do all these wonderful things, but my body just doesn't play ball."

Turns out Kate did fine, scoring a goal after a couple attempts!
